Pre-Kindergarten Education Program 2013

Children in Pittsburgh and Westmoreland County schools will have their first experiences through Opera Theater's outreach in Pre-K programs during early 2013.

The primary project will be in conjunction with a new production, designed specifically for young students, of Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel.This charming work is unique with young children as the protagonists, who learn valuable life lessons while relying on each other. This colorful and fast-moving production lasts just around 30 minutes, which makes it an enjoyable and educational introductory opera for young audiences.
